GO TIME!’s sound remains rooted in hard-edged power pop with garage-rock grit and a bar-band sense of swagger. The guitars push forward constantly, the rhythms stay tight, and the hooks arrive without feeling overly polished. There’s a roughness to the band that works in its favor. Nothing here sounds labored over to death. The album feels played rather than manufactured.
